This technique is used to create Sets from an image. For example you have a image of a room . Then you can create a set and then project the image on the 3d set . Now you have a virtual camera and a set and then you can composite anything you want in the 3-D set.

How to do Camera Projection in Nuke ?

1.For camera projection first you have to create a basic 3D setup. Create a Camera , Card  and Scene.
Attach the Camera and Card to scene.

2.  To build the entire set , we will first start with building the floor with help of card. Move the cursor on the preview window and press TAB to enter the 3D View.
Now using the properties of Card , rotate the card horizontal to grid . Change the rotation in x to 90.

3. Now take scaleline render node . Attach the cam to camera , bg to original footage that is to           projected. and obj/scene to scene.

4 . Now for Projection take a project 3-D node. Connect the cam to camera, andother node to                       original footage that is to be projected.and then attach this projection node to card.

           5. For Final projection output , connect the viewer to scaleline render and also unplug the                          original footage from scaleline render.
